SUIPA – COVID UPDATE: latest government rules

The last Covid measures, announced Friday Dec. 17th, imply that the sport centers have to choose between two options to welcome players/visitors:

  • OPTION 1: Accepting «2G»
    • Any person with a valid sanitary pass (vaccinated or cured from Covid) may enter.
    • The use of mask is mandatory at all times, on and off the court (except for juniors under 16).
  • OPTION 2: Accepting «2G+»
    • May enter, any person showing a valid certificate with the below:
      • A 3rd vaccine dose
      • 2 vaccines received in the past 4 months
      • Cured from Covid in the last 4 months
    • May also enter, any person «2G» with a recent (72hrs PCR /24hrs Antigenic) negative test.
    • The use of mask is not mandatory in this case.

The sport centers have to choose between the two options (both cannot be used simultaneously), and can switch from one to the other during the period these options will remain valid (so far until January 24th as announced by the Swiss government).

Please note that for competitions, the option «2G+» should be observed.

And of course, each swiss canton might dictate stricter restrictions.
